Triggering generation of an accelerated data model summary for a data model

One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media storing instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

• obtaining an indication to accelerate future searches that use a data model that defines search criteria and a set of fields of a dataset;
• determining whether a summary of a data file of the dataset exists for the data model;
• in response to determining that the summary of the data file does not exist for the data model, generating a task specifying generation of the summary of the data file;
• and
• triggering the generation of the summary by transmitting the task for execution.

A computer system, comprising:

• at least one processor and at least one associated memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
• obtaining an indication to accelerate future searches that use a data model that defines search criteria and a set of fields of a dataset;
• determining whether a summary of a data file of the dataset exists for the data model;
• in response to determining that the summary of the data file does not exist for the data model, generating a task specifying generation of the summary of the data file;
• and
• triggering the generation of the summary by transmitting the task for execution.
