Abstract
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a detector to detect a user-initiated switch between a closed operating system type and an open operating system type; an adapter to, in response to a notification, from the detector, of the switch, transition activation from a first interface to a second interface; and a scanner including a first scanning engine to operate via the first interface when the detector detects that the operating system is in the closed operating system type and the second interface when the detector detects that the operating system is in the open operating system type.
Claims21
An apparatus comprising:
- detector circuitry to detect a switch between a closed operating system type and an open operating system type based on a notification intercepted from communication between an interface and a processor;
- adapter circuitry to, in response to a notification, from the detector circuitry, of the switch, transition activation from a first interface to a second interface;
- and
- scanning circuitry including a scanning engine to operate via the first interface when the detector detects that the operating system is in the closed operating system type and the second interface when the detector detects that the operating system is in the open operating system type.
A method comprising:
- detecting a switch between a closed operating system type and an open operating system type based on a notification intercepted from communication between an interface and a processor;
- activating a transition, in response to a notification, of the switch, from a first interface to a second interface;
- and
- scanning via the first interface when a detector detects that the operating system is in the closed operating system type and the second interface when the detector detects that the operating system is in the open operating system type.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising computer readable instructions which, when executed, cause at least one processor to at least:
- detect a switch between a closed operating system type and an open operating system type based on a notification intercepted from communication between an interface and the at least one processor;
- activate a transition, in response to a notification, of the switch, from a first interface to a second interface;
- and
- scan via the first interface when a detector detects that the operating system is in the closed operating system type and the second interface when the detector detects that the operating system is in the open operating system type.
