Pre-job operation valve checks

A method of performing a valve check on a plurality of valves utilized in a wellbore servicing operation, the method comprising:

• identifying a set of valves to be checked from the plurality of valves;
• simultaneously actuating each valve in the set to transition from a first position to a second position;
• for each valve in the set, recording a first response time based on the transition from the first position to the second position and determining if the first response time for the valve exceeds a first predetermined upper threshold;
• presenting a display of each valve in the set and an indication whether e first response time exceeds the first predetermined upper threshold;
• requesting a proposed valve configuration in which at least one valve in the plurality of valves is manipulated;
• determining that a pump coupled to the plurality of valves is operating;
• determining whether the proposed valve configuration matches one of a plurality of valve configurations identified that would result in an overpressured state of the plurality of valves;
• manipulating the at least one valve to move the plurality of valves to the proposed valve configuration in response to either:
• determining both that the proposed valve configuration does not result in an overpressured state and that first response time for each valve of the at least one valve is below the first predetermined upper threshold;
• or determining both that the proposed valve configuration does result in an overpressured state and a set of safety checks has been overridden;
• and
• prohibiting, while the pump is operating, operation of the pump at a speed that would result in the overpressured state in response to determining that the proposed valve configuration does result in the overpressured state and the set of safety checks has been overridden.
