Abstract
The disclosed embodiments include a system for generating a unitary structure with a three-dimensional (3D) printing process. The unitary structure includes a cavity configured to contain a fluid and a passageway configured to route the fluid to or from the cavity.
Claims20
A three-dimensional (3D) printed structure comprising:
- a unitary structure including:
- a cavity configured to contain an ink fluid;
- and
- a passageway configured to route the ink fluid to or from the cavity,
- wherein the unitary structure is formed of a sintered powdered material of glass filled nylon.
2 more elements
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- memory containing computer instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause a three-dimensional (3D) printer to:
- process a sintered powdered material of glass filled nylon to print a unitary structure in accordance with an additive manufacturing process,
- wherein the unitary structure includes a network of cavities interconnected by passageways configured to route ink fluid.
2 more elements
A process comprising:
- processing computer instructions that control a printing process causing a three-dimensional (3D) printer to print a unitary structure from a sintered powdered material of glass filled nylon,
- wherein the unitary structure is impermeable to an ink fluid;
- and
- printing, based on the computer instructions, the unitary structure in accordance with an additive manufacturing process to include a network of passageways configured to route the ink fluid.
