Information processing system and storage medium storing information processing program

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored therein an information processing program executed by a computer of an information processing apparatus, the information processing program configured to cause the computer to execute:

• arranging contents of a video game that are chosen by a user into a plurality of groups, wherein each one of the contents of the video game are objects that are usable within the video game, wherein the plurality of groups includes at least one first group and at least one second group;
• during a first period of time, presenting, on a display screen that is coupled to the computer, the first group as an option for selection by the user, wherein the first group is presented with a higher priority than that of other ones of the plurality of groups,
• during a second period of time, presenting, on the display screen that is coupled to the computer, the second group as an option for selection by the user, of the groups stored in the storage medium as an option, wherein the second group is presented with a higher priority than that of other ones of the plurality of groups;
• determining one of the presented groups chosen by the user, as a group to be used in a game process;
• and
• performing the game process using contents included in the determined group,
• in the case where a period of time during which the game process is performed is included in the first period of time, and the determined one of the presented groups includes contents associated with the first period of time, the game process is performed so as to obtain an effect, and in the case where a period of time during which the game process is performed is included in the second period of time, and the determined one of the presented groups includes contents associated with the second period of time, the game process is performed so as to obtain an effect.

An information processing system comprising:

• at least one hardware processor configured to perform operations including:
• arranging contents of a video game that are chosen by a first user into a plurality of groups, wherein each one of the contents of the video game are objects that are usable within the video game, wherein the plurality of groups includes at least one first group and at least one second group;
• during a first period of time, presenting, on a display screen that is coupled to the computer, the first group as an option for selection by a second user, wherein the first group is presented with a higher priority than that of other ones of the plurality of groups;
• during a second period of time, presenting, on the display screen that is coupled to the computer, the second group as an option for selection by the second user, of the groups stored in the storage medium as an option, wherein the second group is presented with a higher priority than that of other ones of the plurality of groups;
• storing, into the storage medium, first field information including information about contents included in the first group and game field information about locations where the contents are disposed, and second field information including information about contents included in the second group and game field information about locations where the contents are disposed;
• and
• in the case where a game process is performed during the first period of time using contents of the second user according to the second user's operation instruction, the game process is performed using the first field information, and in the case where a game process is performed during the second period of time using contents of the second user according to the second user's operation instruction, the game process is performed using the second field information.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored therein an information processing program executed by a computer of an information processing apparatus, the information processing program configured to cause the computer to execute:

• arranging contents of a video game that are chosen by a first user into a plurality of groups, wherein each one of the contents of the video game are objects that are usable within the video game, wherein the plurality of groups includes at least one first group and at least one second group;
• during a first period of time, presenting, on a display screen that is coupled to the computer, the first group as an option for selection by a second user, wherein the first group is presented with a higher priority than that of other ones of the plurality of groups;
• during a second period of time, presenting, on the display screen that is coupled to the computer, the second group as an option for selection by the second user, of the groups stored in the storage medium as an option, wherein the second group is presented with a higher priority than that of other ones of the plurality of groups;
• storing, into the storage medium, first field information including information about contents included in the first group and game field information about locations where the contents are disposed, and second field information including information about contents included in the second group and game field information about locations where the contents are disposed;
• and
• in the case where a game process is performed during the first period of time using contents of the second user according to the second user's operation instruction, the game process is performed using the first field information, and in the case where a game process is performed during the second period of time using contents of the second user according to the second user's operation instruction, the game process is performed using the second field information.
