Abstract
Peptides derived from NKp44 protein, chimeric peptides, nucleotides encoding same and pharmaceutical compositions comprising same, are provided. Further, methods of extending the biological half-life of a protein of interest are provided.
Claims16
A chimera consisting of a peptide consisting of 20 to 50 contiguous amino acid residues from amino acids 130 to 199 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, fused directly to a protein of interest and wherein a leader peptide is optionally present at the N-terminus of the chimera.
A method of extending the biological half-life of a protein of interest, comprising the step of providing a chimera by fusing a peptide consisting of 20 to 50 contiguous amino acid residues from amino acids 130 to 199 of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 directly to a protein of interest, thereby extending the biological half-life of a protein of interest.
A chimera consisting of a peptide selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 2, 3, 4, and 5 fused directly to a protein of interest, wherein a leader peptide is optionally present at the N-terminus of the chimera.
A method of extending the biological half-life of a protein of interest, comprising the step of providing a chimera by fusing a peptide selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 2, 3, 4, and 5 directly to a protein of interest, thereby extending the biological half-life of a protein of interest.
