Disclosed herein is a medical device. The medical device includes a blade tube section, a motor, and a lever arm. The blade tube section includes an outer blade tube, an inner blade tube, and a cutting window at a distal end of the blade tube section. The motor is spaced from the blade tube section. The lever arm is between the inner blade tube and the motor.

A medical device comprising:
- a blade tube section comprising an outer blade tube, an inner blade tube, and a cutting window at a distal end of the blade tube section;
- a motor spaced from the blade tube section;
- a flywheel coupled with the motor;
- a collar mounted on the inner blade tube;
- and
- a lever arm coupled with the collar and with the flywheel.

- a flywheel having a pin, wherein the flywheel is coupled with the motor;
