Abstract
In an image processing apparatus, an acquisition unit acquires relevant content related to a document included in a job inputted into the image processing apparatus, and a display control unit displays the acquired relevant content on a display unit of the image processing apparatus. An acceptance unit accepts a selection of one of a plurality of output forms from a user, as an output form for the relevant content displayed on the display unit. A control unit generates a job for outputting the accepted relevant content in the output form and controls execution of the generated job.
Claims20
An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a memory that stores a program;
- and
- a processor that executes the program to perform:
- receiving a first job for outputting a first document;
- searching for a second document that relates to the first document included in the received first job, wherein the second document is different from the first document;
- controlling to execute the received first job;
- controlling to display the searched-for second document on a display unit of the image processing apparatus;
- selecting, as an output form to be executed for the second document, one output form from among a plurality of output forms based on a user's instruction;
- generating a second job for outputting the second document in the selected one output form, wherein the generated second job is different from the first job;
- and
- controlling to execute the generated second job.
A method for controlling an image processing apparatus, the method comprising:
- receiving a first job for outputting a first document;
- searching for a second document that relates to the first document included in the received first job, wherein the second document is different from the first document;
- controlling to execute the received first job;
- displaying the searched-for second document on a display unit of the image processing apparatus;
- selecting, as an output form to be executed for the second document, one output form from among a plurality of output forms based on a user's instruction;
- generating a second job for outputting the second document in the selected one output form, wherein the generated second job is different from the first job;
- and
- controlling to execute the generated second job.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program for causing a computer to perform:
- receiving a first job for outputting a first document;
- searching for a second document that relates to the first document included in the received first job, wherein the second document is different from the first document;
- controlling to execute the received first job;
- displaying the searched-for second document on a display unit of the image processing apparatus;
- selecting, as an output form to be executed for the second document, one output form from among a plurality of output forms based on a user's instruction;
- generating a second job for outputting the second document in the selected one output form, wherein the generated second job is different from the first job;
- and
- controlling to execute the generated second job.
