Abstract
The present technology provides a disinfectant textile composition having antimicrobial, wash durable, optionally enhanced with multifunctional properties. The technology also provides a method of treating a textile substrate. The method comprises applying a disinfecting treating composition using one or more of an exhaust, padding, coating or spraying process. The treating composition comprises an antifungal agent and further comprises a cross-linking agent. The method also comprises drying the textile substrate using a heat setting process.
Claims17
A method of treating a textile substrate comprising:
- applying a disinfecting treating composition using one or more of an exhaust, padding, coating or spraying process, wherein the treating composition comprises an antifungal agent and further comprises a cross-linking agent;
- and
- drying the textile substrate using a heat setting process;
- wherein the treating composition further comprises an emulsifying agent which is at least one selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene monostearate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate, and polyethylene glycol 400 monolaurate and combinations thereof and is used in a concentration of between 0.1 ppm to 200 ppm*1.
