Abstract
A silicone rubber composition is a silicone rubber composition, in a fixing member having a rubber member on a surface, for forming the rubber member, and an integrated value of a high-molecular component from 32 minutes to 37 minutes of retention time in measurement of gas-chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS method) conducted under a predetermined condition is 3.0 or more.

- the predetermined condition includes:
- a solvent extraction condition wherein a sample has a cuboid shape with a side of approximately 5 mm;
- the sample is then immersed in 50 mL of chloroform and agitated at a normal temperature for 2 hours, and then, left for 24 hours;
- the sample is dried at a normal temperature so as to obtain a dried and hardened article;
- and the dried and hardened article is dissolved into hexane to have a 10 mL sample solution, and
- a GC/MS condition wherein a time when the sample solution is injected is set to 0 minutes of the retention time;
- a temperature is held at 40° C. for 5 minutes, the temperature is then raised to 140° C. at a rate of 5° C./min, and the temperature is raised from 140 to 290° C. at a rate of 20° C./min;
- a column is DB-XLB 30m, an injection port temperature is 250° C., a carrier gas is helium, a carrier gas flowrate is 1 mL/minute, a mass analyzer temperature is 320° C. at an interface and 250° C. at an ion source, and a detector voltage is 1000 V.
