Paving machine membrane dispenser

An asphalt paving system for dispensing hot asphalt material to form a paved surface, the asphalt paving system comprising:

• an asphalt paving machine comprising a hopper and first and second supports, where
• the asphalt paving machine defines a front, first and second sides lateral to the first and second supports, and a center area between the first and second sides, and
• the hopper is configured to store the hot asphalt material;
• a plurality of dispensing shafts mounted on the asphalt paving machine, where
• at least a portion of at least one of the plurality of dispensing shafts extends beyond the first side of the paving machine,
• at least a portion of at least one of the plurality of dispensing shafts extends beyond the second side of the paving machine, and
• at least a portion of at least one of the plurality of dispensing shafts extend from the front of the paving machine and is arranged entirely within the center area of the paving machine;
• and
• a plurality of rolls of pavement reinforcing membrane, where
• the pavement reinforcing membrane is asphalt bitumen coated, and
• each of the plurality of dispensing shafts supports one of the plurality of rolls of pavement reinforcing membrane;
• whereby
• as the asphalt paving machine moves,
• the plurality of dispensing shafts dispense the pavement reinforcing membrane continuously beneath the asphalt paving machine, and
• the hot asphalt material is dispensed from the hopper on top of the pavement reinforcing membrane beneath the asphalt paving machine.
