## Abstract

A method and system to improve the computer in light of the global information network with numerous computer devices services, and apps, so that a user can capture and find information with high security and usability. The invention makes all information potentially searchable on the Internet, and distinguishes finding the existence of an object of information from its access, and the ability for a searcher to request access to an object that is not permitted, and to enable the object owner to approve requests.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for making content globally searchable across the internet, comprising:
(a) capturing a content in a computer that is part of the internet; and then
(b) capturing an authenticated user who captured the content; and then
(c) generating in the computer a globally unique persistent identifier corresponding to the content; and then
(d) capturing an indicator whether the authenticated user intends to permit that the existence of the content is presented to an authenticated searcher in another computer that is part of the internet as part of the list of objects that match a search across the internet performed by the authenticated searcher further enabling the authenticated searcher if the indicator is positive to request permission to access the content by presenting an identity of the authenticated searcher further enabling the authenticated user to grant permission to the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content; and then
(e) communicating to a server that is part of the internet metadata of the content comprising
the globally unique persistent identifier, and
the authenticated user who captured the content, and
the indicator of existence of the content, and
storage location information in the computer for the content.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 whereby the identity of the authenticated searcher is not existent at the time of capturing the indicator of existence.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 further adding to the metadata the identity of the authenticated searcher that requests permission to access the content.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The method of claim 3 further adding to the metadata a second indicator whether the authenticated user grants permission to the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content in response to the permission request to access the content by the authenticated searcher.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 also comprising:
capturing a list of identities to whom the authenticated user grants permission to access the content even if the indicator of existence is negative, and
adding the list of identities to the metadata.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 also comprising:
capturing a list of identities to whom the authenticated user grants permission to access the content without requesting permission in response to the match of the search across the internet, and
adding the list of identities to the metadata.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 also comprising:
capturing a list of identities to whom the authenticated user rejects permission to access the content even if the indicator of existence is positive, and
adding the list of identities to the metadata.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, whereby the search is by keyword and the content is part of the list of objects that match the search if the keyword is contained in the content.

### Claim 9

A method for making content globally searchable across the internet, comprising:
(a) capturing a content in a computer that is part of the internet; and then
(b) capturing an authenticated user who captured the content; and then
(c) generating in the computer a globally unique persistent identifier corresponding to the content; and then
(d) capturing an indicator of existence and accessibility expressing whether the intention of the authenticated user is
to not permit that the existence of the content is presented to an authenticated searcher in another computer that is part of the internet as part of the list of objects that match a search across the internet performed by the authenticated searcher; or
to permit that the existence of the content is presented to the authenticated searcher in the other computer that is part of the internet as part of the list of objects that match the search across the internet performed by the authenticated searcher further enabling the authenticated searcher to request permission to access the content by presenting an identity of the authenticated searcher further enabling the authenticated user to grant permission to the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content; or
to permit that the existence of the content is presented to the authenticated searcher in the other computer that is part of the internet as part of the list of objects that match the search across the internet performed by the authenticated searcher and to permit the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content.
(e) communicating to a server that is part of the internet metadata of the content comprising
the globally unique persistent identifier, and
the authenticated user who captured the content, and
the indicator of existence and accessibility, and
storage location information in the computer for the content.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9 further adding to the metadata the identity of the authenticated searcher that requested permission to access to the content.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10 further adding to the metadata of the content a second indicator whether the authenticated user grants permission to the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9 also comprising:
capturing an identity to whom the authenticated user grants permission to access the content even if the indicator of existence and accessibility is to not permit that the existence of the content is presented, and
adding the identity to the metadata.

### Claim 13 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9 also comprising:
capturing an identity to whom the authenticated user grants permission to access the content without requesting permission in response to the content being part of the list of objects that match the search across the internet performed by the authenticated searcher with the identity, and
adding the identity to the metadata.

### Claim 14 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9 also comprising:
capturing an identity to whom the authenticated user does not permit to present the existence of the content even if the indicator of existence and accessibility is to permit that the existence of the content is presented to the authenticated searcher, and
adding the identity to the metadata.

### Claim 15

A method for making content globally searchable across the internet, comprising:
(a) capturing a content in a computer that is part of the internet; and then
(b) capturing an authenticated user who captured the content; and then
(c) generating in the computer a URL corresponding to the content; and then
(d) capturing an indicator of existence and accessibility expressing whether the intention of the authenticated user is:
to not permit that the existence of the content is presented to an authenticated searcher in another computer that is part of the internet if the authenticated searcher requests the URL; or
to permit that the existence of the content is presented to the authenticated searcher in the other computer that is part of the internet if the authenticated searcher requests the URL further enabling the authenticated searcher to request permission to access the content by presenting an identity of the authenticated searcher further enabling the authenticated user to grant permission to the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content; or
to permit that the existence of the content is presented to the authenticated searcher in the other computer that is part of the internet if the authenticated searcher requests the URL and to permit the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content; and then
(e) communicating to a server that is part of the internet metadata of the content comprising
the URL, and
the authenticated user who captured the content, and
the indicator of existence and accessibility, and
storage location information in the computer for the content.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15 further adding to the metadata the identity of the authenticated searcher that requested permission to access to the content.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The method of claim 16 further adding to the metadata of the content a second indicator whether the authenticated user grants permission to the identity of the authenticated searcher to access the content.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15 also comprising:
capturing an identity to whom the authenticated user grants permission to access the content even if the indicator of existence and accessibility is to not permit that the existence of the content is presented, and
adding the identity to the metadata.

### Claim 19 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15 also comprising:
capturing an identity to whom the authenticated user grants permission to access the content without requesting permission in response to the URL request by the authenticated searcher with the identity, and
adding the identity to the metadata.

### Claim 20 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15 also comprising:
capturing an identity to whom the authenticated user does not permit to present the existence of the content even if the indicator of existence and accessibility is to permit that the existence of the content is presented to the authenticated searcher, and
adding the identity to the metadata.
