Abstract

A cleaning device includes a housing having a first end defining an inlet and an opposing second end defining an outlet. The housing defines an internal cavity. The housing has a first portion, a second portion, and an intermediate portion. The first portion defines a first chamber of the internal cavity that is connected to the inlet. The first portion has a first width. The second portion defines a second chamber of the internal cavity that is connected to the outlet. The second portion has a second width greater than the first width. The intermediate portion extends between the first portion and the second portion. The intermediate portion defines an intermediate chamber. The intermediate portion has a linear profile or a non-linear profile. The cleaning device further includes an air driver positioned within the first chamber, an ozone generator positioned within the intermediate portion, and a catalyst positioned within the second chamber.

Dependent claims

A cleaning device comprising:

a housing having a first end defining an inlet, an opposing second end defining an outlet, and a door, the housing defining an internal cavity, the housing having:
a first portion defining a first chamber of the internal cavity, the first chamber connected to the inlet, and the first portion having a first width;
a second portion defining a second chamber of the internal cavity, the second chamber connected to the outlet, and the second portion having a second width greater than the first width;
and
an intermediate portion extending between the first portion and the second portion, the intermediate portion defining an intermediate chamber, and the intermediate portion having at least one of a linear profile or a non-linear profile;
an air driver positioned within the first chamber;
an ozone generator positioned within the intermediate portion;
and
a catalyst positioned within the second chamber;
wherein the cleaning device is operable in a first mode where the door is closed such that air is cycled into the inlet, through the housing and the catalyst, and out of the outlet;
and
wherein the cleaning device is operable in a second mode where ozone generated by the ozone generator is emitted from the housing upstream of the catalyst and into an external environment such that the ozone bypasses the catalyst.
