Abstract
A secondary battery includes: a case including an internal receiving space and having an opening; an electrode assembly accommodated in the internal receiving space of the case; a cap plate coupled to the opening of the case; and a terminal coupled to the cap plate and electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and the terminal includes a terminal region integrally formed with the cap plate, a membrane on a bottom surface of the terminal region and being downwardly convex, and a pressure indicator pin on a top surface of the membrane.

A secondary battery comprising:
- a case comprising an internal receiving space and having an opening;
- an electrode assembly accommodated in the internal receiving space of the case;
- a cap plate coupled to the opening of the case;
- and
- a terminal coupled to the cap plate and electrically connected to the electrode assembly;
- wherein the terminal comprises a terminal region integrally formed with the cap plate, a membrane on a bottom surface of the terminal region and being downwardly convex, and a pressure indicator pin on a top surface of the membrane.
