Abstract
A negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, which includes: natural graphite particles; and soft carbon particles having a BET specific surface area of 7.6 m2/g or more, wherein the natural graphite particles and the soft carbon particles are present in the negative electrode active material at a range of weight ratio of 78:22 to 92:8. Also a negative electrode containing the negative electrode active material and a lithium secondary battery containing the negative electrode.
Claims13
A negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, comprising:
- natural graphite particles having a BET specific surface area of 2.5 m2/g to 5.5 m2/g;
- and
- soft carbon particles having a BET specific surface area of 10 m2/g to 13 m2/g,
- wherein the natural graphite particles and the soft carbon particles are present in the negative electrode active material at a range of weight ratio of 78:22 to 92:8,
- wherein the natural graphite particles have an average particle diameter (D50) of 12 μm to 20 μm, and wherein the soft carbon particles have an average particle diameter (D50) of 6 μm to 15 μm.
