Abstract
System, apparatus, device and methods relating to a telematic vehicle sharing platform ecosystem and a telematic vehicle share I/O expander to automate sharing and management of a vehicle that is shared by more than one operator.
Claims23
A method for sharing and monitoring shared use of a vehicle, the method comprising:
- enabling use of said vehicle, wherein enabling said use of said vehicle comprises:
- receiving at a server a reservation request;
- validating at said server said reservation request based, at least in part, on a unique personal attribute;
- and
- sending from said server said validated reservation request indicative of said unique personal attribute to at least one telematic device associated with said vehicle, wherein said validated reservation request enables said use of said vehicle;
- concurrently monitoring shared vehicle data from said at least one telematic device;
- and
- associating said monitored shared vehicle data with said unique personal attribute to provide shared vehicle management.
