Abstract
A system, method and apparatus that uses a quantum event-based, binary data generation apparatus operating in combination with a single-party or two-party, symmetric and/or asymmetric key storage system to create both random numbers and encryption keys to be used for purposes of encryption and decryption of a user's or organization's file data.
Claims15
An apparatus for generating quantum event-based data, said apparatus comprising:
- a light source, said light source emitting light;
- a microfluidic device containing microspheres suspended in a fluid, said light passing through said microfluidic device;
- and
- an image sensor, said image sensor configured to detect time-definite changes in the positions of the microspheres that occur as a result of Brownian motion, said microfluidic device is positioned between said light source and said image sensor,
- wherein Brownian motion of said microspheres, captured by said image sensor, is feed into a random number generator, generating a plurality of random numbers.
