Abstract
An electronic musical instrument includes a playing operator, and a sound source which performs processing of receiving, in response to a user operation on the playing operator, a sound generation instruction according to playing operation information including the pitch information indicating the certain pitch and sound volume information indicating a certain volume, and generating sound according to the certain pitch and the certain volume, based on excitation data generated by multiplying partial data by a window function, the partial data being included in excitation signal waveform data generated based on a plurality of waveform data items which are respectively different from each other in sound intensity in the certain pitch.
Claims21
An electronic musical instrument comprising:
- a playing operator with which pitch information indicating a certain pitch is associated;
- a memory in which excitation signal waveform data corresponding to the certain pitch is stored in advance, wherein the excitation signal waveform data that is stored in advance is generated by combining, in time series, portions of a plurality of waveform data items corresponding to the certain pitch and which are respectively different from each other in sound intensity;
- and
- a sound source which performs processing of:
- receiving, in response to a user operation on the playing operator, a sound generation instruction according to playing operation information including the pitch information indicating the certain pitch and sound volume information indicating a certain volume, and
- generating sound according to the certain pitch and the certain volume, based on excitation data generated by multiplying partial data by a window function, the partial data being included in the excitation signal waveform data corresponding to the certain pitch and that is stored in advance in the memory.
An electronic musical instrument comprising:
- a memory;
- a plurality of keys, the plurality of keys respectively being associated with pitch information;
- and
- at least one processor that performs processing of:
- receiving, in response to a user operation on a key among the plurality of keys, a sound generation instruction according to playing operation information including pitch information associated with the key and indicating a certain pitch and sound volume information indicating a certain volume, and
- generating sound according to the certain pitch and the certain volume, based on excitation data generated by multiplying partial data by a window function, the partial data being included in excitation signal waveform data corresponding to the certain pitch and that is stored in advance in the memory, wherein the excitation signal waveform data that is stored in advance in the memory is generated by combining, in time series, portions of a plurality of waveform data items corresponding to the certain pitch and which are respectively different from each other in sound intensity.
A method of causing an electronic musical instrument, which includes (i) a playing operator with which pitch information indicating a certain pitch is associated, (ii) a memory in which excitation signal waveform data corresponding to the certain pitch is stored in advance, wherein the excitation signal waveform data that is stored in advance is generated by combining, in time series, portions of a plurality of waveform data items corresponding to the certain pitch and which are respectively different from each other in sound intensity, and (iii) a sound source, to perform processing by the sound source, the method comprising:
- receiving, in response to a user operation on the playing operator, a sound generation instruction according to playing operation information including the pitch information indicating the certain pitch and sound volume information indicating a certain volume, and
- generating sound according to the certain pitch and the certain volume, based on excitation data generated by multiplying partial data by a window function, the partial data being included in the excitation signal waveform data corresponding to the certain pitch and that is stored in advance in the memory.
