A system for providing improved engineered-composite materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
Claims6
A laminate comprising:
- a reinforcing element comprising three unidirectional tape layers bonded to one another, each unidirectional tape layer comprising parallel monofilaments disposed in a predetermined direction within a non-breathable partially thermoset adhesive;
- a first non-breathable weldable urethane membrane film layer bonded to a first side of the reinforcing element;
- and
- a second non-breathable weldable urethane membrane film layer bonded to a second side of the reinforcing element, opposite the first non-breathable weldable urethane membrane film layer,
- wherein the predetermined directions of the three unidirectional tape layers are at a 0°, +45°, and −45° orientation.
