Wake-up radio advertisement channel

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions which when executed by one or more processors result in performing operations comprising:

• identifying, by an access point device, a first time period during which a wake-up radio (WUR) of a station device is to be awake, the first time period negotiated by the access point device and the station device;
• identifying a WUR channel associated with discovery of the access point device;
• generating a frame comprising an indication of the WUR channel;
• and
• causing to send the frame to the station device during a second time period, wherein the second time period is outside of the first time period.

A method comprising:

• identifying, by processing circuitry of an access point device, a first time period during which a wake-up radio (WUR) of a station device is to be awake, the first time period negotiated by the access point device and the station device;
• identifying a WUR channel associated with discovery of the access point device;
• generating a frame comprising an indication of the WUR channel;
• and
• causing to send the frame to the station device during a second time period, wherein the second time period is outside of the first time period.
