Abstract
An electronic apparatus includes a control unit configured to perform control, while a specific screen on which a specific function can be set is displayed on a first display unit on which a touch operation can be performed, and, if a specific state regarding the specific function is set, to cancel the specific state in response to a touch operation within the first area on the display surface of the first display unit. In addition, the control unit is configured to perform control, while the specific screen is displayed on a second display unit, and, if the specific state is set, to cancel the specific state in response to a touch operation at any position within a second area that is larger than the first area on the display surface.
Claims25
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory and at least one processor which function as:
- a detecting unit configured to detect a touch operation on a display surface of a first display unit;
- a switch unit configured to switch between display on the first display unit and display on a second display unit;
- and
- a control unit configured to perform control,
- to set a specific state regarding a specific function based on the touch operation on the display surface while a specific screen on which an operation for setting the specific function is receivable is displayed on the first display unit or while the specific screen is displayed on the second display unit, and,
- after the specific state being set,
- in a case where the specific screen is displayed on the first display unit, to cancel the specific state in response to the touch operation within a first area of the display surface, and,
- in a case where the specific screen is displayed on the second display unit, to cancel the specific state in response to the touch operation at any position within a second area that is larger than the first area of the display surface.
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory and at least one processor which function as:
- a detecting unit configured to detect a touch operation on an operation surface;
- and
- a control unit configured to perform control,
- while a specific screen on which an operation for setting a specific function is receivable is displayed on a display unit which is different from the operation surface,
- to move an item regarding the specific function in response to a touch moving operation within a specific area on the operation surface and not to move the item when a touch moving operation is performed within a third area which is outside the specific area on the operation surface,
- to set a specific state regarding the specific function in response to a releasing of the touch after the touch moving operation within the specific area, and,
- after the specific state being set, to cancel the specific state in response to a touch operation not including a moving operation at any position within a second area including the specific area and the third area on the operation surface.
A method for controlling an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:
- detecting a touch operation on a display surface of a first display unit;
- switching between display on the first display unit and display on a second display unit;
- and
- performing control,
- to set a specific state regarding a specific function based on the touch operation on the display surface while a specific screen on which an operation for setting the specific function is receivable is displayed on the first display unit or while the specific screen is displayed on the second display unit, and,
- after the specific state being set,
- in a case where the specific screen is displayed on the first display unit, to cancel the specific state in response to the touch operation within a first area of the display surface, and,
- in a case where the specific screen is displayed on the second display unit, to cancel the specific state in response to the touch operation at any position within a second area that is larger than the first area of the display surface.
A method for controlling an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:
- detecting a touch operation on an operation surface;
- and
- performing control,
- while a specific screen on which an operation for setting a specific function is receivable is displayed on a display unit which is different from the operation surface,
- to move an item regarding the specific function in response to a touch moving operation within a specific area on the operation surface and not to move the item when a touch moving operation is performed within a third area which is outside the specific area on the operation surface,
- to set a specific state regarding the specific function in response to a releasing of the touch after the touch moving operation within the specific area, and,
- after the specific state being set, to cancel the specific state in response to a touch operation at any position within a second area including the specific area and the third area on the operation surface.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute a method for controlling an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:
- detecting a touch operation on a display surface of a first display unit;
- switching between display on the first display unit and display on a second display unit;
- and
- performing control,
- to set a specific state regarding a specific function based on the touch operation on the display surface while a specific screen on which an operation for setting the specific function is receivable is displayed on the first display unit or while the specific screen is displayed on the second display unit, and,
- after the specific state being set,
- in a case where the specific screen is displayed on the first display unit, to cancel the specific state in response to the touch operation within a first area of the display surface, and,
- in a case where the specific screen is displayed on the second display unit, to cancel the specific state in response to the touch operation at any position within a second area that is larger than the first area of the display surface.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute a method for controlling an electronic apparatus, the method comprising:
- detecting a touch operation on an operation surface;
- and
- performing control,
- while a specific screen on which an operation for setting a specific function is receivable is displayed on a display unit which is different from the operation surface,
- to move an item regarding the specific function in response to a touch moving operation within a specific area on the operation surface and not to move the item when a touch moving operation is performed within a third area which is outside the specific area on the operation surface,
- to set a specific state regarding the specific function in response to a releasing of the touch after the touch moving operation within the specific area, and,
- after the specific state being set, to cancel the specific state in response to a touch operation at any position within a second area including the specific area and the third area on the operation surface.
