Abstract
A display device includes a substrate including a display area, a first non-display area surrounding the display area, and a second non-display area surrounded by the display area, a through portion disposed in the second non-display area, the substrate in the through portion being removed, and a first groove disposed in the second non-display area in the substrate to surround the through portion.
Claims20
A display device comprising:
- a substrate comprising a display area, a first non-display area surrounding the display area, and a second non-display area surrounded by the display area;
- a through portion disposed in the second non-display area, the substrate in the through portion being removed;
- and
- a first groove disposed in the second non-display area in the substrate to surround the through portion,
- wherein the substrate comprises a first base layer, a first barrier layer, a second base layer and a second barrier layer that are sequentially disposed,
- the first groove extends from the second barrier layer to at least a portion of the second base layer in a depth direction of the substrate,
- the second barrier layer comprises a pair of first tips that are disposed on undercut portions formed in the second base layer in a cross-sectional view, and
- a reinforcement layer and an inorganic barrier layer are sequentially disposed on the pair of first tips.

- a substrate comprising a display area, a first non-display area surrounding the display area, and a second non-display area surrounded by the display area, and a through portion disposed in the second non-display area, the substrate in the through portion being removed;
- a first groove disposed in the second non-display area in the substrate and surrounding the through portion;
- a second groove disposed between the first groove and the through portion in the substrate, and surrounding the through portion, and an inorganic barrier layer disposed on a region corresponding to the second non-display area,
- wherein the substrate comprises a first base layer, a first barrier layer, a second base layer and a second barrier layer that are sequentially disposed,
- the first groove and the second groove respectively extend from the second barrier layer to the second base layer in a depth direction of the substrate, and
- the inorganic barrier layer completely covers an exposed surface of the first groove and an exposed surface of the second groove, and directly contacts the first barrier layer on the bottom of the first groove and the bottom of the second groove.
