Test controller for cloud-based applications

A computer-implemented method, comprising:

• generating a test user interface displaying a first result of a cloud-based software application performing one or more operations in an offline mode in which the one or more operations are performed without a network connection to a backend platform providing one or more remote resources;
• updating the test user interface to display a second result of the cloud-based software application performing the one or more operations in an online mode in which the one or more operations are performed with the network connection to the backend platform providing the one or more remote resources;
• detecting, based at least on the first result and the second result displayed in the test user interface, one or more inconsistencies between the first result of the cloud-based software application operating in the offline mode and the second result of the cloud-based software application operating in the online mode, the one or more inconsistencies including a difference in a value and/or a datatype of the first result generated by the cloud-based software application operating in the offline mode and the second result generated by the cloud-based software application operating in the online mode;
• and
• in response to detecting the one or more inconsistencies, modifying a first runtime environment of the cloud-based software application operating in the offline mode.

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions, which when executed by at least one or more processors, result in operations comprising:

• generating a test user interface displaying a first result of a cloud-based software application performing one or more operations in an offline mode in which the one or more operations are performed without a network connection to a backend platform providing one or more remote resources;
• updating the test user interface to display a second result of the cloud-based software application performing the one or more operations in an online mode in which the one or more operations are performed with the network connection to the backend platform providing the one or more remote resources;
• detecting, based at least on the first result and the second result displayed in the test user interface, one or more inconsistencies between the first result of the cloud-based software application operating in the offline mode and the second result of the cloud-based software application operating in the online mode, the one or more inconsistencies including a difference in a value and/or a datatype of the first result generated by the cloud-based software application operating in the offline mode and the second result generated by the cloud-based software application operating in the online mode;
• and
• in response to detecting the one or more inconsistencies, modifying a first runtime environment of the cloud-based software application operating in the offline mode.
