## Abstract

In an excavator, a plurality of lines to be compared with a region of work by an end attachment are set, and the plurality of lines are changed in accordance with progress of excavation work.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An excavator comprising:
a lower travelling body;
an upper turning body mounted on the lower travelling body;
an excavation attachment including an end attachment;
a sensor configured to determine a position of a region of work by the end attachment; and
an arithmetic processing unit that is set on the upper turning body,
wherein the arithmetic processing unit sets an excavation standard line, which is different from an excavation target surface, at a position closer to a ground surface than the excavation target surface to be compared with the position of the region of work by the end attachment.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The excavator according to claim 1,
wherein the arithmetic processing unit sets a plurality of lines,
wherein the plurality of lines include one excavation target line and another line, and
wherein a distance between said another line and a ground surface is shorter than a distance between the excavation target line and the ground surface.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The excavator according to claim 1,
wherein the arithmetic processing unit sets a plurality of lines,
wherein the plurality of lines include one excavation target line and a plurality of other lines, and
wherein respective distances between the plurality of other lines and a ground surface are shorter than a distance between the excavation target line and the ground surface.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The excavator according to claim 2, wherein said another line is simultaneously displayed with a camera image on a display coupled to the excavator.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The excavator according to claim 2, wherein the excavation target line is simultaneously displayed with a camera image on a display coupled to the excavator.

### Claim 6 (depends on 2)

The excavator according to claim 2, wherein said another line and a side surface image of a bucket are displayed on a same display unit.

### Claim 7 (depends on 2)

The excavator according to claim 2, wherein the excavation target line and a side surface image of a bucket are displayed on a same display unit.

### Claim 8 (depends on 2)

The excavator according to claim 2, wherein said another line is displayed to be able to be compared with a height of a bucket in a bar display.

### Claim 9 (depends on 2)

The excavator according to claim 2, wherein the excavation target line is displayed to be able to be compared with a height of a bucket in a bar display.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The excavator according to claim 1, wherein an icon indicating a turning angle of the upper turning body is displayed.

### Claim 11

A display device for an excavator including a lower travelling body; an upper turning body mounted on the lower travelling body; an excavation attachment including an end attachment; a sensor configured to determine a position of a region of work by the end attachment; and an arithmetic processing unit that is set on the upper turning body,
wherein the arithmetic processing unit sets an excavation standard line, which is different from an excavation target surface, at a position closer to a ground surface than the excavation target surface to be compared with the position of the region of work by the end attachment.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The display device according to claim 11,
wherein the arithmetic processing unit sets a plurality of lines,
wherein the plurality of lines include one excavation target line and another line, and
wherein a distance between said another line and a ground surface is shorter than a distance between the excavation target line and the ground surface.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

The display device according to claim 11,
wherein the arithmetic processing unit sets a plurality of lines,
wherein the plurality of lines include one excavation target line and a plurality of other lines, and
wherein respective distances between the plurality of other lines and a ground surface are shorter than a distance between the excavation target line and the ground surface.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)

The display device according to claim 12, wherein said another line is simultaneously displayed with a camera image on a display.

### Claim 15 (depends on 12)

The display device according to claim 12, wherein the excavation target line is simultaneously displayed with a camera image on a display.

### Claim 16 (depends on 12)

The display device according to claim 12, wherein said another line and a side surface image of a bucket are displayed on a same display unit.

### Claim 17 (depends on 12)

The display device according to claim 12, wherein the excavation target line and a side surface image of a bucket are displayed on a same display unit.

### Claim 18 (depends on 12)

The display device according to claim 12, wherein said another line is displayed to be able to be compared with a height of a bucket in a bar display.

### Claim 19 (depends on 12)

The display device according to claim 12, wherein the excavation target line is displayed to be able to be compared with a height of a bucket in a bar display.

### Claim 20 (depends on 1)

The display device according to claim 1, wherein an icon indicating a tuning angle of the upper turning body is displayed.
