## Abstract

The present invention provides a compound of Formula XXVII: wherein X is CH2 or O, and R1 is H or CH3; or a salt or a hydrate of the compound, and further provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of Formula XXVII and one or more acceptable pharmaceutical carriers. A method of treating a patient having cancer comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula XXVII, or a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of Formula XXVII and one or more acceptable pharmaceutical carriers to the patient is disclosed.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A compound of Formula XXVI:
wherein X is S; R1 is H or CH3; and R2 is H or CH3;
or a salt or a hydrate of said compound.

### Claim 2

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula XXVI:
wherein X is S; R1 is H or CH3; and R2 is H or CH3; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or hydrate of said compound.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2 comprising at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

### Claim 4

A compound of Formula XXVII:
wherein X is CH2 or O, and R1 is H or CH3; or a salt or a hydrate of said compound.

### Claim 5

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula XXVII:
wherein X is CH2 or O, and R1 is H or CH3; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or hydrate of said compound.

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5 comprising at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

### Claim 7

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula XXIX:
wherein R1 is H or CH3; R2 is SCH3 or OCH3; and R3 is H or CH3; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or hydrate of said compound.

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 7 comprising at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 7 wherein R1 is CH3, R2 is SCH3, and R3 is H.

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula XXX:
wherein X is CH2; and R1 is H or CH3; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or hydrate of said compound.

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 10 comprising at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 10 wherein R1 is H and X is CH2.
