## Abstract

A composition for weed control and fertilizer comprising iron hydroxyl ethylenediaminetriacetic acid, fertilizer mineral supplement, feed grade urea, a natural-based wetting agent, molasses desugarized solubles, and water, and may further comprise glycerin and/or preservatives, are provided. Methods for weed control and fertilization of plants comprising the steps of providing a composition comprising an effective amount of iron hydroxyl ethylenediaminetriacetic acid, fertilizer mineral supplement, feed grade urea, natural-based wetting agent, and molasses desugarized solubles, and applying an effective amount of the composition to soil or a plant or a weed, are also provided.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A composition for weed control and fertilizer comprising: iron hydroxyl ethylenediaminetriacetic acid, at between 5.13% and 7.76% of the total volume; fertilizer mineral supplement, at approximately between 0.06% and 0.07% of the total volume; feed grade urea, at approximately between 3.77% (kg/L) and 4.02% (kg/L); a wetting agent, at approximately between 0.04% and 0.05% of the total volume; molasses desugarized solubles, at approximately between 6.35% and 10.1% of the total volume; and water, comprising the remainder portion of said composition, wherein said composition is effective at controlling weeds.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The composition of claim 1 further comprising glycerin, at approximately between 0.06% and 0.07% of the total volume.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The composition of claim 1 further comprising a preservative.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A method for weed control and fertilization comprising the steps of: providing the composition of claim 1; and applying an effective amount of the composition to soil, lawn, or a cultivated area, wherein said effective amount is between 0.3 ounces and 0.4 ounces per square foot.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein said composition further comprises glycerin at approximately between 0.06% and 0.07% of the total volume.

### Claim 6 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein said composition further comprises a preservative.

### Claim 7 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein said composition is applied to said soil, lawn, or a cultivated area by one or more of the following methods: injection, surface broadcast, broadcast incorporated, band application, fertigation, foliar application, sidedress, topdress, and seed placement.
