## Abstract

An incense holder assembly and method of manufacture. The incense holder assembly has a base including a cavity, and an ash collector, and an upper housing including a first end with an incense material support including an incense aperture that can support an incense structure inserted into the incense aperture. An external cavity is positioned coupled to the incense material support and the ash collector, and a channel fluidly extends from the incense aperture to an internal cavity. The assembly also includes incense material support surfaces that can support the incense structure by coupling to a side of the incense structure. An incense material support surface is positioned within a channel or the internal cavity, and an incense material support surface is adjacent to or proximate the at least one aperture.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An assembly comprising:
at least one orifice extending through a housing, the at least one orifice configured and arranged as a cantilever support when coupled with at least one inserted incense material comprising a first length sufficient to maintain a certain cantilever load on at least a portion of the at least one orifice, the certain cantilever load being a cantilever load sufficient to maintain the at least one inserted incense material in a stable position; and
wherein following a reduction of the first length by burning to a second length that results in the at least one inserted incense material exerting an insufficient cantilever load on at least a portion of the at least one orifice, the at least one inserted incense material drops out of the at least one orifice.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The assembly of claim 1, wherein the housing includes at least one external cavity.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The assembly of claim 2, wherein the at least one external cavity comprises at least two oppositely opposed sides extending from opposite sides of an ash aperture extending at least a partial longitudinal length of the housing.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The assembly of claim 3, wherein the housing is coupled to a base layer including at least one internal cavity.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The assembly of claim 4, wherein the at least one internal cavity is fluidly coupled to the ash aperture, the external cavity, and the at least one orifice.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The assembly of claim 1, wherein the at least one orifice is coupled to at least one incense material support surface within the housing.

### Claim 7

An assembly comprising:
an upper housing;
at least one orifice extending through the upper housing, the at least one orifice comprising a lower wall and an upper wall and configured and arranged as a cantilever support when coupled with an inserted incense material of a first length positioned at least partially in the at least one orifice and extending at least between the lower wall and the upper wall;
at least one ash-receiving conduit extending at least a partial longitudinal length of the upper housing, the at least one ash-receiving conduit configured to capture or channel ash from the inserted incense material into the incense holder assembly; and
wherein the first length is sufficient to maintain a certain cantilever load exerted between the lower wall and upper wall, the certain cantilever load being a load sufficient to maintain the inserted incense material in a stable position by one side of the inserted incense material being coupled to the lower wall and an opposite side of the inserted incense material being coupled to the upper wall; and
wherein following a reduction of the first length by burning to a second length that results in the inserted incense material exerting an insufficient cantilever load between the lower wall and the upper wall, the inserted incense material falls out of the at least one orifice.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The assembly of claim 7, further comprising at least one ash collector coupled to the upper housing.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The assembly of claim 8, further comprising at least one storage cavity.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The assembly of claim 9, wherein the at least one storage cavity is positioned in a base layer and positioned at least partially beneath and separated from the at least one ash collector.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The assembly of claim 8, wherein the at least one cavity comprises the at least one ash collector.

### Claim 12 (depends on 7)

The assembly of claim 7, wherein the upper housing comprises at least one external cavity positioned fluidly coupled to the at least one ash-receiving conduit, the at least one external cavity extending at least a partial length of the upper housing.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The assembly of claim 12, wherein the at least one external cavity comprises at least two oppositely opposed sides extending from opposite sides of the at least one ash aperture.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)

The assembly of claim 12, further comprising a lid coupled to the upper housing and extending at least partially across the at least one external cavity.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The assembly of claim 14, wherein the lid includes at least one vent fluidly coupled to the at least one external cavity and at least one incense aperture.

### Claim 16 (depends on 12)

The assembly of claim 12, wherein the upper housing includes a closed second end, and the at least one external cavity comprises a trough.

### Claim 17 (depends on 7)

The assembly of claim 7, wherein the at least one ash aperture is positioned substantially centrally in the upper housing extending from adjacent the at least one orifice at one end of the upper housing at least partially to an opposite end of the upper housing.

### Claim 18 (depends on 7)

The assembly of claim 7, wherein the at least one ash aperture is positioned off-center in the upper housing extending from adjacent the at least one orifice at one end of the upper housing at least partially to an opposite end of the upper housing.

### Claim 19 (depends on 7)

The assembly of claim 7, wherein the upper housing includes a plurality of incense material supports, wherein each incense material support includes an incense aperture.

### Claim 20 (depends on 7)

The assembly of claim 7, wherein the upper housing includes an open second end.
