## Abstract

A pharmaceutical composition contains an antibody or a fragment thereof specific for COL6A3 for the treatment of a cancer. A method of treating a cancer includes administering to a subject in need thereof the pharmaceutical composition. A kit includes a container that contains the pharmaceutical composition. A method of producing an antibody or a fragment thereof against a peptide or a MHC/peptide complex. A method for detecting a diseased tissue includes administering to a subject in need thereof an antibody or a fragment thereof conjugated to a radioisotope and detecting a signal from the radioisotope in the subject. A method for treating a diseased tissue includes administering to a subject in need thereof an antibody or a fragment thereof conjugated to a toxin.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of treating a patient who has gastric cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and/or renal cancer, comprising administering to said patient a composition comprising a population of activated T cells that selectively recognize cells in the patient that aberrantly express a peptide, wherein said peptide consists of the amino acid sequence of RYLWATVTI (SEQ ID NO: 16), wherein the peptide is in a complex with an MHC molecule.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the T cells are autologous to the patient.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the T cells are obtained from a healthy donor.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the T cells are derived from tumor infiltrating lymphocytes or peripheral blood mononuclear cells.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising expanding T cells in vitro.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the MHC molecule is a class I molecule.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the composition further comprises an adjuvant.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the adjuvant is selected from anti-CD40 antibody, imiquimod, resiquimod, GM-CSF, cyclophosphamide, sunitinib, bevacizumab, interferon-alpha, interferon-beta, CpG oligonucleotides and derivatives, poly-(I:C) and derivatives, RNA, sildenafil, particulate formulations with poly(lactide co-glycolide) (PLG), virosomes, interleukin (IL)-1, IL-2, IL-4, IL-7, IL-12, IL-13, IL-15, IL-21, and IL-23.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the activated T cells are cytotoxic T cells produced by contacting T cells, in vitro, with an antigen presenting cell that expresses the peptide in a complex with an MHC class I molecule on the surface of the antigen presenting cell, for a period of time sufficient to activate said T cell specifically against the peptide.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9, further comprising stimulating the activated T cells in the presence of an anti-CD28 antibody and IL-12 to clonally expand the T cells.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the patient has gastric cancer.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the patient has gastrointestinal cancer.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the patient has colorectal cancer.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the patient has pancreatic cancer.

### Claim 15 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the patient has lung cancer.

### Claim 16 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the patient has renal cancer.

### Claim 17 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the adjuvant comprises IL-2.

### Claim 18 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the adjuvant comprises IL-7.

### Claim 19 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the adjuvant comprises IL-15.

### Claim 20 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the adjuvant comprises IL-21.
