Abstract
An aquacultured shrimp contains carotenoid and does not have a broken 2nd antenna.
Claims24
An aquaculture shrimp produced by a method of farming aquaculture shrimps, comprising:
- keeping shrimps in a land-farming nursery;
- and
- feeding to the shrimps kept in the land-farming nursery a feed comprising a carotenoid in an amount of 50 ppm or greater,
- wherein the keeping includes monitoring a ratio of shrimps having pairs of second antennas that are not broken and are longer than respective body lengths of the shrimps in the land-farming nursery such that the ratio is at least 50%.

A method of farming aquaculture shrimps, comprising:
- keeping shrimps in a land-farming nursery;
- and
- feeding to the shrimps kept in the land-farming nursery a feed comprising carotenoid in an amount of 50 ppm or greater,
- wherein the keeping includes monitoring a ratio of shrimps having pairs of second antennas that are not broken and are longer than respective body lengths of the shrimps in the land-fanning nursery such that the ratio is at least 50%.
