Abstract
A method for detecting control information in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes checking a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error by monitoring control channels, determining whether a value of an error check field is equal to a specific value, and, if the value of the error check field is equal to a specific value, detecting the control information on the control channel.
Claims12
A method of activating semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- monitoring, by a user equipment (UE), a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH);
- obtaining, by the UE, downlink control information (DCI) relating to a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) from the PDCCH,
- wherein the DCI includes a new data indicator (NDI) field, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process number field and a redundancy version (RV) field;
- and
- activating, by the UE, the SPS based on the HARQ process number field and RV field,
- wherein the NDI field consists of 1 bit, the HARQ process number field consists of 4 bits, and the RV field consists of 2 bits,
- wherein the activation of the SPS is determined based on whether the 4 bits of the HARQ process number field are set to all zeros and the 2 bits of the RV field are set to all zeros.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, comprising:
- a transceiver configured to transmit and/or receive a radio signal;
- and
- a processor operatively coupled with the transceiver and configured to:
- monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH);
- obtain downlink control information (DCI) relating to a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) from the PDCCH,
- wherein the DCI includes a new data indicator (NDI) field, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process number field and a redundancy version (RV field);
- and
- activate semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) based on the NDI field, HARQ process number field and RV field,
- wherein the NDI field consists of 1 bit, the HARQ process number field consists of 4 bits, and the RV field consists of 2 bits,
- wherein the activation of the SPS is determined based on whether the 4 bits of the HARQ process number field are set to all zeros and the 2 bits of the RV field are set to all zeros.
