An operation method of a nonvolatile memory device, the method comprising:
- receiving a plurality of first DQ signals representing a plurality of first data bits from an external device through a first DQ line and receiving a plurality of second DQ signals representing a plurality of second data bits from the external device through a second DQ line;
- and
- programming a plurality of first memory cells corresponding to the first DQ line and a plurality of second memory cells corresponding to the second DQ line such that each of the first memory cells has one of an erase state and a first program state based on a respective first DQ signal and each of the second memory cells has one of the erase state and a second program state based on a respective second DQ signal,
- wherein a lower limit value of a threshold voltage distribution corresponding to the second program state associated with the plurality of second memory cells is higher than a lower limit value of a threshold voltage distribution corresponding to the first program state associated with the plurality of first memory cells,
- wherein the plurality of first memory cells and the plurality of second memory cells are connected to the same word line, and
- wherein the erase state for each of the first memory cells and for each of the second memory cells represents the same data state, and the first program state for the first memory cells and the second program state for the second memory cells both represent the same data state.
