Abstract
The invention provides an adenovirus or adenoviral vector characterized by comprising one or more particular nucleic acid sequences or one or more particular amino acid sequences, or portions thereof, pertaining to, for example, an adenoviral pIX protein, DNA polymerase protein, penton protein, hexone protein, and/or fiber protein.
Claims28
A method of delivering a non-native nucleic acid sequence to mammalian cells in vivo, wherein the method comprises in vivo administration of an adenovirus or adenoviral vector comprising a non-native nucleic acid sequence encoding an immunogenic protein and one or more of the nucleic acid sequences selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) a nucleic acid sequence that is at least 98.5% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 2,
- (b) a nucleic acid sequence that is at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 4, and
- (c) a nucleic acid sequence that is at least 89% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 5.
A method of delivering a non-native nucleic acid sequence to mammalian cells in vivo, wherein the method comprises in vivo administration of an adenovirus or adenoviral vector comprising a non-native nucleic acid sequence encoding an immunogenic protein and one or more of the amino acid sequences selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) an amino acid sequence that is at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 14, and
- (b) an amino acid sequence that is at least 83% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 15.
- (a) a nucleic acid sequence encoding an amino acid sequence that is at least 99.68% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 12,
- (b) a nucleic acid sequence encoding an amino acid sequence that is at least 80% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 14, and
- (c) a nucleic acid sequence encoding an amino acid sequence that is at least 83% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 15.
