## Abstract

Some aspects of what is described here relate to seismic data analysis techniques. A seismic excitation is generated in a first directional wellbore section in a subterranean region. A seismic response associated with the seismic excitation is detected in a second directional wellbore section in the subterranean region. Seismic response data based on the seismic response are analyzed to identify a location of a fracture treatment injection wellbore in the subterranean region.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A seismic analysis method comprising:
receiving seismic response data for a seismic response associated with a seismic excitation in a subterranean region, the seismic excitation generated by a plurality of seismic sources each in a first directional wellbore section in the subterranean region, the seismic response detected in a second directional wellbore section in the subterranean region, wherein the plurality of seismic sources are placed in the first directional wellbore section after drill strings have been removed from the first and second directional wellbore sections and the first and second directional wellbore sections have been cased and cemented;
identifying, by operation of a computer system, a location of a fracture treatment injection wellbore that has been completed in the subterranean region based on the seismic response data; and
dynamically mapping created fractures, by operation of the computer system, with the seismic response data to determine which perforation clusters in the completed fracture treatment injection wellbore have fracture systems initiating from them and an extent of fracture propagation from each perforation cluster.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising identifying the location of the fracture treatment injection wellbore relative to a stratigraphic layer in the subterranean region.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, comprising identifying at least one of:
an orientation of the fracture treatment injection wellbore relative to an orientation of the stratigraphic layer; or
a distance between the fracture treatment injection wellbore and a boundary of the stratigraphic layer.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising identifying the location of the fracture treatment injection wellbore relative to a fracture in the subterranean region.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, comprising identifying at least one of:
an orientation of the fracture treatment injection wellbore relative to an orientation of the fracture; or
a distance between the fracture treatment injection wellbore and the fracture.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising identifying the location of the fracture treatment injection wellbore relative to another wellbore in the subterranean region.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, comprising identifying at least one of:
an orientation of the fracture treatment injection wellbore relative to an orientation of the other wellbore; or
a distance between the fracture treatment injection wellbore and the other wellbore.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising:
generating a seismic velocity model for the subterranean region based on the seismic response data; and
identifying the location based on the seismic velocity model.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising, in real time while drilling the fracture treatment injection wellbore, identifying the location of the fracture treatment injection wellbore.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising identifying the location of the fracture treatment injection wellbore after completion of the fracture treatment injection wellbore.
