## Abstract

An embodiment of the present invention provides a roller shade actuation device for actuating a winding drum with an outer surface mounted with an end of a shade body. Opposite ends of the winding drum are rotatably mounted to corresponding frames with the help of pivots. The roller shade actuation device is mounted between one of the frames and the winding drum. The roller shade actuation device includes a middle shaft rotatably mounted to an inner sidewall of the frame, and a plane scroll spring mounted outside the middle shaft and axially parallel to the middle shaft. The middle shaft is connected to a pivot of a corresponding end of the winding drum through shaft connection. An outer end of a reed of the plane scroll spring is fixed to an outer surface of the middle shaft.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A roller shade actuation device for actuating a winding drum with an outer surface mounted with an end of a shade body and opposite ends rotatably mounted to corresponding frames with the help of pivots, the actuation device mounted between one of the frames and the winding drum, the roller shade actuation device comprising:
a middle shaft rotatably mounted to an inner sidewall of the one of the frames;
a plane scroll spring mounted outside the middle shaft and axially parallel to the middle shaft; and
a pivot fixed in a circumferential direction with one of the ends of the winding drum, and coaxially connected to the middle shaft;
wherein an outer end of a reed of the plane scroll spring is fixed to an outer surface of the middle shaft.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 1, wherein the inner sidewall of the one of the frames forms a pole, the pole is fitted about the plane scroll spring.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 2, wherein the pole is fitted about a bushing, and the plane scroll spring is fitted about the bushing.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 1, wherein the pivot comprises an insertion end for being inserted into an inner cavity of the one of the ends of the winding drum, and a connection shaft located at an end of the insertion end away from the winding drum; the insertion end is mutually engaged with an inner wall of the inner cavity of the winding drum to allow the insertion end and the winding drum to be fixed in the circumferential direction; the insertion end forms a limit piece for being abutted against an outer end surface of the winding drum, the connection shaft is coaxially connected to the middle shaft.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 4, wherein an end wall of an end of the middle shaft facing the winding drum defines a connection hole, the connection shaft is inserted into the connection hole, cross sections of the connection hole and the connection shaft are matched and are non-circular to allow the winding drum and the connection shaft to be fixed in the circumferential direction, or a fixing pin extends into the connection hole through a sidewall of the middle shaft to be inserted into the connection shaft, so as to fixedly connect the connection shaft and the middle shaft.

### Claim 6 (depends on 4)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 4, wherein the one of the frames defines a round hole, an end of the middle shaft is cylindrical and inserted into the round hole; an end wall of the end of the middle shaft inserted into the round hole defines a non-circular operation hole.

### Claim 7 (depends on 4)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 4, wherein the insertion end is a hollow tube and only opens at an end adjacent to the connection shaft, the connection shaft is inserted into the tube, cross sections of the connection shaft and an inner tube hole of the tube are matched and are non-circular.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 7, wherein a wall of the tube defines a slot extending through the wall of the tube and extending along an axial direction of the tube; the connection shaft forms a hook engaged in the slot, a compressed spring is arranged in the tube and resiliently abutted against the end of the connection shaft inserted into the tube.

### Claim 9 (depends on 4)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 4, wherein an inner wall of the winding drum protrudes toward a center of the inner cavity of the winding drum to form a protrusion, an outer wall of the insertion end correspondingly defines an insertion slot, wherein when the insertion end is inserted into the inner cavity of the winding drum, the protrusion is correspondingly engaged in the insertion slot.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The roller shade actuation device of claim 1, further comprising a cover mounted to the inner sidewall of the one of the frames rotatably mounted with the middle shaft, wherein the cover and the one of the frames cooperate to form a closed mounting cavity, the middle shaft and the plane scroll spring are mounted in the mounting cavity, and the cover defines a through hole for exposing the middle shaft.
