Rearview monitor apparatus

A rearview monitor apparatus, comprising:

• a display provided on an instrument panel of a vehicle, arranged further outward in a vehicle width direction than a range in which a steering is projected in a front-to-rear direction of the vehicle, and that displays a captured external image to a driver;
• and
• a housing formed to surround a periphery of the display,
• wherein the housing includes
• an upper surface arranged above the display,
• a side surface arranged outside in the vehicle width direction of the display and that faces the outside, and
• a visor that extends in a vehicle rearward direction beyond the display from vehicle rearward positions of the upper surface and the side surface and that forms an opening part in a vehicle rearward direction, and
• a first recess part of which a depth gradually increases toward a vehicle frontward direction towards an inside in the vehicle width direction from an outer end in the vehicle width direction is formed on the upper surface side of the visor.
