## Abstract

Described herein are syringe devices comprising a syringe including a therapeutic dose of at least one drug to be used in a drug or substance overdose. Also provided herein are compositions and methods of treating opioid overdose using high dose naloxone.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A high dose naloxone composition including naloxone at a dose greater than or equal to about 5 mg configured for administration, wherein Cmax is between 15 ng/mL to 24 ng/mL and the administration is an injection.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 1, wherein the dose is greater than about 10 mg.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 1, including naloxone hydrochloride at a dose of 5 mg/0.5 mL.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 3, wherein the composition is configured for a single administration.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 4, wherein the administration is using an injection device.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 1, wherein the composition is aqueous.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 1, wherein the Cmax is 15.8 ng/mL.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 1, wherein the Cmax is 17.2 ng/mL.

### Claim 9

A high dose naloxone composition including naloxone at a dose greater than about 5 mg configured for administration, wherein the AUC0-0.04 h is between 0.01 h*ng/mL and 0.1 h*ng/mL and the administration is an injection.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The high dose naloxone composition of claim 9, including naloxone hydrochloride at a dose of 5 mg/0.5 mL.
