Drywall banjo tools for applying joint tape

A drywall banjo having a removable sloped insert comprising:

• a main drywall banjo housing body having an interior having a bottom;
• a removable sloped insert having:
• a flat surface of the removable sloped insert of the drywall banjo, wherein the flat surface extends between a tape inlet and a tape outlet of the main drywall banjo when the removable sloped is inserted and secured within the interior of the main drywall banjo;
• a sloped surface of the removable sloped insert that is opposite to and projects away from the flat surface, wherein the sloped surface is capable of guiding joint compound mud within the interior cavity toward joint tape that extends from the tape inlet to the tape outlet wherein the sloped surface includes a first end surface that is removably positioned toward the tape outlet of the main banjo housing when the flat surface is coupled to the main banjo housing interior and a second end surface that is removably positioned toward the tape inlet of the main banjo housing when the flat surface is removably secured within the main banjo housing;
• and
• wherein the removable sloped insert is removably secured to the interior of the main drywall banjo.
