Abstract
Various surgical hubs are disclosed. A surgical hub is for use with a surgical system in a surgical procedure performed in an operating room. The surgical hub comprises: non-contact sensors and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to: determine bounds of the operating room based on measurements performed by the non-contact sensors; and establish a control arrangement with a detected surgical hub located within the bounds of the operating room.
Claims19
A surgical hub for use with a surgical system in a surgical procedure performed in an operating room, wherein the surgical hub comprises:
- non-contact sensors;
- and
- a control circuit configured to:
- determine bounds of the operating room based on measurements performed by the non-contact sensors;
- detect another surgical hub located within the bounds of the operating room;
- and
- establish a control arrangement with the detected another surgical hub located within the bounds of the operating room.
A surgical hub for use with a surgical system in a surgical procedure performed in an operating room, wherein the surgical hub comprises:
- non-contact sensors;
- a processor;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to:
- determine bounds of the operating room based on measurements performed by the non-contact sensors;
- detect another surgical hub located within the bounds of the operating room;
- and
- establish a control arrangement with the detected another surgical hub located within the bounds of the operating room.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer readable instructions which, when executed, causes a machine to:
- determine bounds of an operating room based on measurements performed by non-contact sensors;
- detect another surgical hub located within the bounds of the operating room;
- and
- establish a control arrangement with the detected another surgical hub located within the bounds of the operating room.
