Abstract
An electrically conductive yarn or film and method of manufacturing thereof in which a SP1/nanoparticle complex bound to the yarn or film serves as a platform for adhesion of a metallic coating.

A conductive yarn comprising:
- a plurality of interlocked fibers at least partially coated with a composition of carbon black (CB) and SP1 variant (SP1/CB);
- one or more polyamine coating(s);
- and
- an outer metal coating.
