Abstract
A mobile computer may determine it is located in a vehicle or a conveyance based on a measured distance, satellite related positioning information, and a touch input.
Claims6
A method for detecting movement of an electronic device, comprising:
- performing a first measurement of a first radio signal received from a first endpoint of a first coverage area;
- performing a second measurement of a second radio signal received from a second endpoint of a second coverage area;
- and
- detecting a movement of the electronic device from the first coverage area to the second coverage area based on the first measurement and the second measurement, if the electronic device is moved from the first coverage area to the second coverage area.

An apparatus for detecting movement of an electronic device, comprising:
- at least one sensor configured to:
- perform a first measurement of a first radio signal received from a first endpoint of a first coverage area, and
- perform a second measurement of a second radio signal received from a second endpoint a second endpoint of a second coverage area;
- and
- at least one processor configured to detect a movement of the electronic device from the first coverage area to the second coverage area based on the first measurement and the second measurement, if the electronic device is moved from the first coverage area to the second coverage area.
