Abstract
In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives, in an active down-link bandwidth part, a random access response from a base station indicating an up-link resource in an active up-link bandwidth part for transmitting a random access message. The UE generates the random access message based on a numerology of the active up-link bandwidth part. The UE transmits the random access message at the up-link resource in the active up-link bandwidth part.
Claims19
A method of wireless communication of a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving, in an active down-link bandwidth part, a random access response from a base station indicating an up-link resource in an active up-link bandwidth part for transmitting a random access message, wherein the active up-link bandwidth part is different from an initial up-link bandwidth part configured for the UE;
- generating the random access message based on a numerology of the active up-link bandwidth part;
- and
- transmitting the random access message at the up-link resource in the active up-link bandwidth part.
An apparatus for wireless communication, the apparatus being a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
- receive, in an active down-link bandwidth part, a random access response from a base station indicating an up-link resource in an active up-link bandwidth part for transmitting a random access message, wherein the active up-link bandwidth part is different from an initial up-link bandwidth part configured for the UE;
- generate the random access message based on a numerology of the active up-link bandwidth part;
- and
- transmit the random access message at the up-link resource in the active up-link bandwidth part.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer executable code for wireless communication of a user equipment (UE), comprising code to:
- receive, in an active down-link bandwidth part, a random access response from a base station indicating an up-link resource in an active up-link bandwidth part for transmitting a random access message, wherein the active up-link bandwidth part is different from an initial up-link bandwidth part configured for the UE;
- generate the random access message based on a numerology of the active up-link bandwidth part;
- and
- transmit the random access message at the up-link resource in the active up-link bandwidth part.
