Abstract
A negative electrode active material including a core having SiOx (0≤x<2), an intermediate layer covering at least a portion of a surface of the core and including at least one of silicon nitride or silicon oxynitride, and a carbon coating layer covering at least a portion of the intermediate layer and containing nitrogen.
Claims14
A negative electrode active material, comprising:
- a core including SiOx (0≤x<2);
- an intermediate layer covering at least a portion of a surface of the core and including at least one of silicon nitride or silicon oxynitride;
- and
- a carbon coating layer covering at least a portion of the intermediate layer and containing nitrogen,
- wherein a weight ratio of the intermediate layer to the carbon coating layer is 1:99 to 20:80,
- wherein the nitrogen in the carbon coating layer is included in an amount of 0.1 wt % to 5 wt % based on a total weight of the carbon coating layer.
