Abstract
An optical modifier may include a color controller including quantum dots, a barrier layer encapsulating the color controller, and a low refractive layer spaced apart from the color controller with the barrier layer interposed between the color controller and the barrier layer. The barrier layer may have a layer density ranging from 1.50 g/cm3 to 3.0 g/cm3.

An optical modifier, comprising:
- a color controller including quantum dots;
- a barrier layer disposed the color controller;
- and
- a low refractive layer disposed on the color controller,
- wherein at least one of the barrier layer and the low refractive layer directly contacts the color controller, and the barrier layer has a layer density ranging from 1.50 g/cm3 to 3.0 g/cm3.

- a base substrate;
- a plurality of pixels disposed on the base substrate;
- a color controller disposed on or below the pixels, the color controller including quantum dots;
- a barrier layer disposed on the color controller;
- and
- a low refractive layer disposed on the color controller,
- wherein at least one of the barrier layer and the low refractive layer directly contacts the color controller, and the barrier layer has a layer density ranging from 1.50 g/cm3 to 3.0 g/cm3.
