• a communication device configured for:
• transmitting a software application design interface to a user device;
• receiving a plurality of design commands, through the software application design interface, from the user device, wherein the plurality of design commands represent an executable statechart design comprising a plurality of microservices corresponding to a plurality of state machines, wherein at least one first microservice corresponds to a first operating system process and at least one second microservice corresponds to a second operating system process, wherein a communication between the first operating system process and the second operating system process is implemented as a transition from a first state of a first state machine corresponding to the first microservice to a second state of a second state machine corresponding to the second microservice, wherein the transition is based on at least one event received from a Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) Compliant Operating System (PCOS) queue;
• a processing device configured for generating the software application design interface;
• and a storage device configured for storing the executable statechart design.
