Abstract
An information processing apparatus connected to a plurality of networks, includes: a plurality of device drivers each of which is receives a packet from each of the networks; and circuitry determines a network to which a transmission source device of the packet belongs based on information indicating which of the device drivers has received the packet.
Claims20
An information processing apparatus connected to a plurality of networks, comprising:
- a plurality of interfaces corresponding to the plurality of networks, respectively, each of the plurality of interfaces having a respective one of a plurality of device drivers associated therewith;
- and
- processing circuitry configured to,
- select an output destination from among a plurality of output destinations based on which of the plurality of interfaces receives a packet transmitted over one of the plurality of networks, and
- output a processing result of the packet to the output destination.
A method of operating an information processing apparatus connected to a plurality of networks, the information processing apparatus including a plurality of interfaces corresponding to the plurality of networks, respectively, each of the plurality of interfaces having a respective one of a plurality of device drivers associated therewith, the method comprising:
- selecting an output destination from among a plurality of output destinations based on which of the plurality of interfaces receives a packet transmitted over one of the plurality of networks, and
- outputting a processing result of the packet to the output destination.
A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by an information processing apparatus including a plurality of interfaces corresponding to a plurality of networks, respectively, each having a respective one of a plurality of device drivers associated therewith, configures the information processing apparatus to,
- select an output destination from among a plurality of output destinations based on which of the plurality of interfaces receives a packet transmitted over one of the plurality of networks, and
- output a processing result of the packet to the output destination.
