Display device

A display device comprising:

• a first substrate;
• a scan line extending in a first direction in a lengthwise direction of the scan line based on an overall shape of the scan line, on the first substrate;
• a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode adjacent to each other in a second direction crossing the first direction, on the first substrate;
• a first signal line and a second signal line each extending in the second direction;
• and
• a thin film transistor that extends along the scan line and the first signal line and that is coupled to the scan line, the first signal line, and the first pixel electrode,
• wherein
• the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode are disposed between the first signal line and the second signal line in the first direction,
• the scan line is disposed between the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode in the second direction,
• the scan line includes:
• a main portion extending in the first direction and having a main portion edge that is an edge of the scan line at a side of the first pixel electrode;
• a first extending portion extending in the second direction from the main portion and having a first edge of the scan line, the first edge intersecting the first signal line and extending in the first direction;
• and
• a second extending portion extending in the second direction from the main portion and having a second edge of the scan line, the second edge intersecting the second signal line and extending in the first direction, and
• a distance in the second direction to the second pixel electrode from the main portion edge is shorter than each of distances in the second direction to the second pixel electrode from the first edge and from the second edge,
• the first extending portion and the second extending portion extends toward a same direction from the main portion, along the second direction, and
• the first edge of the first extending portion and the second edge of the second extending direction are disposed in a same side in the second direction, relative to the main portion edge of the main portion.
