Abstract
Embodiments of the invention provide at least one polymer covalently conjugated to an esterase. The at least one polymer includes a plurality of oxime functional groups.

A composition comprising at least one polymer covalently conjugated to an enzyme, wherein the at least one polymer comprises a reactive functional group capable of reacting with an inhibitor when the inhibitor is attached to an active site of the enzyme.
