Multiple-sprocket arrangement for a bicycle gearing

A multiple-sprocket arrangement for mounting on a rear wheel axle arrangement of a bicycle, comprising:

• a sprocket assembly having a plurality of sprockets of different sizes disposed along an axis of rotation of the rear wheel axle arrangement, the sprocket assembly including:
• a torque transmitting section configured to transmit torque to a hub sleeve, the torque transmitting section disposed along a first length of the rotation axis,
• at least two sprockets having a smaller inner diameter than an outer diameter of the hub sleeve, the at least two sprockets formed as separate pieces from other sprockets of the plurality of sprockets and positioned over a second length along the rotation axis, the second length distinct from, and disposed outboard of, the first length, and
• a receiving body disposed radially inward of the sprocket assembly and configured to secure the at least two sprockets to the hub sleeve, the receiving body including a threaded attachment configured to attach to the hub sleeve at a position along the rotation axis inboard of the second length.
