Abstract
An aerosol-generating device is provided, including a housing having a chamber configured to receive at least a portion of an aerosol-forming article; a first coil disposed at least partially around, or adjacent to, the chamber; and a second coil disposed at least partially around, or adjacent to, the chamber, with an inductance of the first coil being between 1.1 and 2 times greater than an inductance of the second coil.
Claims30
An aerosol-generating device that uses inductive heating, comprising:
- a housing having a chamber configured to receive at least a portion of an aerosol-forming article;
- a first inductor coil disposed at least partially around, or adjacent to, the chamber;
- and
- a second inductor coil disposed at least partially around, or adjacent to, the chamber,
- wherein an inductance of the first inductor coil is between 1.1 and 2 times an inductance of the second inductor coil, the first resonant frequency and the second resonant frequency being different.
