Facilitating improved performance of multiple downlink control channels in advanced networks

A method, comprising:

• scheduling, by a network equipment comprising a processor, a first data traffic channel for a user equipment based on a single codeword scheduling procedure;
• scheduling, by the network equipment, a second data traffic channel for the user equipment based on an iterative scheduling procedure;
• and
• facilitating, by the network equipment, transmissions of two control channels, the first data traffic channel, and the second data traffic channel, wherein a first control channel of the two control channels comprises a first group of control information related to the first data traffic channel, wherein a second control channel of the two control channels comprises a second group of control information related to the second data traffic channel, and wherein the first control channel and the second control channel are transmitted concurrently.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processor of a network equipment, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:

• sending, to a user equipment, respective information via multiple control channels, wherein a first control channel of the multiple control channels and a second control channel of the multiple control channels are sent substantially at a same time;
• scheduling multiple data traffic channels for the user equipment, wherein the scheduling comprises:
• scheduling a first data traffic channel of the multiple data traffic channels based on a single codeword scheduling procedure, and
• scheduling a second data traffic channel of the multiple data traffic channels based on an iterative procedure;
• and
• sending, to the user equipment, respective data via the multiple data traffic channels, wherein the respective information comprise first information indicative of the first data traffic channel of the multiple data traffic channels and second information indicative of the second data traffic channel of the multiple data traffic channels.
